A mix to celebrate the Fall of 1995! More changes and stability making Austin the place to be.
The conclusion to the Summer of 1995 which would also have my third trip to Chicago that year!
The Summer of 1995 just kept getting better. I was now making enough money to support myself and then some (when it was possible in Austin). Now I could feed my music habit with less worry.
One of my favorite holidays! Celebrating jokes and pranks. The humor on this podcast will vary but I tried my best to get the stand-up bits to match all songs except the opener.
And so concludes 1995 with the first completely computer-animated movie being a hit!

Blowing up the Death Star was about on par with defeating all the regret I was feeling near the end of 1994, moving to Austin was a mistake. Now I was getting somewhere.
Like Scrooge McDuck, from a small start can an empire of music grow! My collection had grown from just a few CDs 10 years earlier. Keep enjoying what 1995 had to offer.

Another string of songs to keep the Spirit of 1995 rolling!
Here's the first collection of "random" songs from 1995. The year is called Fruition because now my Austin plans had finally come together. First up was a temp gig at Apple which is what the System 7.5 watch represents. It wasn't well-made as it got destroyed by some asshole at the Matthew Sweet concert that Fall.
The tribute-cover-cause…whatever album was definitely in full swing. Often these could be weak if the artist's take was identical to the original. Fortunately in 1995, these selections demonstrate many taking a chance on changing the arrangement, pace, genre or injecting humor.
